Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of BridgeDuel. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use BridgeDuel.
BridgeDuel is operated by Vasiliki Nika, Athens, Greece. Questions may be sent to contact@bridgeduel.com.

2. The service

BridgeDuel is a free browser-based contract bridge game focused on declarer play. It offers guest play, player accounts, Duels, tournaments, practice and training features, rankings, results and game history.
Features may be added, changed, limited or removed. We may pause the service for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

3. Accounts and guest access

Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account or guest session.
Usernames must not impersonate another person, disclose private information, infringe rights, or contain unlawful, abusive or misleading material.
Tell us promptly at contact@bridgeduel.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Fair play and acceptable use

Use BridgeDuel lawfully and respect other players and the integrity of the game.
Do not cheat, collude, manipulate results or rankings, or use unauthorised automation, bots or scripts.
Do not interfere with the service, bypass security, overload systems, scrape data at scale, or attempt unauthorised access.
Do not harass users, distribute malicious content, misuse invitation links or use the service for spam.
Do not copy, modify or exploit BridgeDuel content or software except where law expressly permits it.

5. Results, rankings and invitations

Scores, rankings and standings are calculated from the rules and data used by the service. We may correct results affected by technical errors, invalid data, abuse or rule violations.
Your username and results may be shown to other players. Duel invitation links can be used by anyone who receives them, so share them carefully.

6. AI Help

AI Help is optional and may generate incomplete or inaccurate answers. It is general assistance, not professional advice or an authoritative tournament ruling.
You remain responsible for your decisions. Do not submit sensitive personal information through AI Help.

7. Intellectual property

BridgeDuel, its software, design, text, graphics and original content are protected by intellectual-property law and belong to the operator or applicable licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service as intended.
You retain rights in content you send to us, while giving us the limited permission needed to process it and provide the requested feature or support.

8. Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate abuse, enforce these terms, comply with law, or address security or technical risk.
You may stop using BridgeDuel at any time and may request account deletion at contact@bridgeduel.com.

9. Availability and responsibility

BridgeDuel is provided on an “as available” basis. We cannot promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or preservation of every unfinished session.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

10. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Mandatory rights under the law of your country of residence remain unaffected.
We may update these terms when BridgeDuel or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be published here.
